Horma Canyon Excursion

Meeting Point and Time: Kastamonu University, Engineering and Architecture Faculty, 11:00 AM
Program: Hike through Horma Canyon, arrival at Ilıca Waterfall, and a lunch stop
Return to Kastamonu: 7:30 PM
Transportation: Will be provided by bus.
Participants who wish to join must register at the registration desk.
⚠️ Important Notice
The walking route in Horma Canyon follows wooden and steel platforms that reach up to 60 meters above the canyon floor. Participants with a fear of heights may find this challenging.
The route includes uphill and downhill steps and may be physically demanding.
The total walking distance is approximately 3 km, with an average walking time of about 1 hour.
The route ends at the exit near Ilıca Waterfall.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and non-slip footwear suitable for hiking, and bringing a light jacket/sweater and drinking water.
Participants are kindly requested not to leave the designated path or descend to the canyon floor or water, and to observe the scheduled meeting times.
